ROVAR Acceptable Use Policy
This acceptable use policy covers the ROVAR mobile app, our website at https://rovarapp.com/, and the related services and technologies (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Becker Technical Services LLC (“ROVAR,” “we,” or “us”). It is designed to keep ROVAR safe and welcoming, and to protect our users, us, and the wider community from unethical, irresponsible, and illegal activity.
This policy applies to everyone who uses the Services, including anyone who creates, promotes, or attends events through them. Users found engaging in activities prohibited by this policy may have their content removed and their accounts suspended or terminated. In serious cases, we may be legally obliged to report users to the relevant authorities.
This policy forms part of our Terms of Service. It was last reviewed on 10/8/2026.
Our Approach
We are opposed to all forms of abuse, harassment, discrimination, rights infringement, and any action that harms or disadvantages any group, individual, or resource. We expect everyone who uses ROVAR to engage with the Services, and with each other, with similar intent. We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users.
Fair Use
The Services are provided for ordinary personal and community use. You must not use the Services in a way that places an unreasonable load on our systems, and we may limit or restrict use that we consider excessive or automated.
User Accountability
You are responsible for your own actions on the Services and for all activity under your account, including activity by anyone you allow to use your account and activity that results from your failure to keep your account reasonably secure.
If you violate this policy, we may remove your content, restrict your access to features, suspend or terminate your account, or take any other remedial or preventive action we consider appropriate, with or without notice.
Prohibited Content
You must not post, upload, share, or link to content that:
• is illegal, or promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
• infringes anyone’s copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property rights, or that you otherwise do not have permission to share;
• harasses, bullies, threatens, intimidates, or abuses any person or group;
• promotes hatred, violence, or discrimination against people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, or any other protected characteristic;
• incites or glorifies violence, depicts graphic violence, or threatens anyone’s health or safety;
• promotes or encourages suicide, self-harm, or eating disorders;

• impersonates any person or organization, or misrepresents your affiliation with them; or is spam, including repetitive, unsolicited, or deceptive promotional content.
We report apparent child sexual exploitation material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement, as required by law.
Events
Events created on ROVAR must be real, lawful, and accurately described. You must not use the Services to:
• create fake, misleading, or fraudulent events, or misrepresent an event’s date, time, location, cost, or organizer;
• set an event location at a private residence or other property without the permission of its owner or occupant;
• organize or promote events that involve illegal activity, such as the sale of illegal drugs or weapons, or unlicensed gambling;

Spam and Unauthorized Messages
You must not use the Services to send unsolicited bulk or commercial messages (“spam”), whether through posts, events, comments, or any messaging features, or use information obtained through the Services, such as usernames or contact details, to send spam outside of the Services. You must not create posts or events whose main purpose is to advertise unrelated products or services or to drive traffic to other sites.
Unethical, Exploitative, and Malicious Activity
The Services must not be used for the purpose of advertising, transmitting, or otherwise making available any software, program, product, or service designed to violate this acceptable use policy, or the acceptable use policy of other service providers.
You must not:
• access, or attempt to access, any account, system, or data that you do not own or are not authorized to access (for example, “hacking” or “cracking”);
• introduce viruses or other malicious code, or probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Services without our written permission;
• interfere with or disrupt the Services, other users’ use of them, or the servers and networks connected to them, including through denial-of-service attacks, flooding, or similar means;
• scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services, or use bots or other automated means to access them, except as we expressly permit;

Services, or create a new account to evade a suspension or ban;
• buy, sell, or transfer accounts or usernames;
• artificially inflate engagement or other metrics on the Services;
• collect, alter, or destroy information about other users without authorization;
• violate any person’s privacy or any consumer protection law; or
• obtain, or attempt to obtain, services from us or any other provider by fraud.
The Services may not be used by any person or entity that is involved with or suspected of involvement in activities or causes relating to illegal gambling; terrorism; narcotics trafficking; arms trafficking; or the proliferation, development, design, manufacture, production, stockpiling, or use of nuclear, chemical, or biological weapons, weapons of mass destruction, or missiles; in each case including any affiliation with others who support such activities or causes.
Unauthorized Use of ROVAR Property
We prohibit the impersonation of ROVAR, the representation of a significant business relationship with ROVAR, or the claimed ownership of any ROVAR property (including our Services and brand) for the purpose of fraudulently gaining service, custom, patronage, or user trust.
Reporting and Enforcement
You can report content or users that you believe violate this policy, and block other users, from within the app. You can also contact us at info@rovarapp.com. We review reports and act on objectionable content within two business days, which may include removing the content and suspending or terminating the accounts of the users responsible.
We may preserve content and share information with law enforcement where required by law.
